Renaissance is a rural retreat with 3 cottages on a 200-acre farm, 17 km from the nearest urban centre. Set in fields at the quiet end of the farm far from the village settlement, the retreat area has been designed for visitors who will appreciate space and quiet. One of the cottages is a suite with spacious living room and kitchenette, while the other two are one-room units with attached bathrooms. The

windows look out on a distant vista in the front and an ancient mango orchard at the back. There is a separate dining area with a spacious verandah, and a large pond well-stocked with fish, where anglers will pass many a happy hour. Beside the pond is a thatched sit-out which can be used for evening barbeques, breakfast with a view, or laptop sessions during the day.

The cottage rooms are fully equipped with standard amenities such as air conditioning, room heaters, tea/coffee maker, and TV with cable network. There is internet for the use of guests. Mineral water can be provided on request. The food is basic local cuisine, simple and farm-fresh. Vegetables are sourced from an abundant kitchen garden attached to the retreat. Rice and lentils are grown organically on the farm. Fresh fish, plentifully available locally or netted from the pond; chicken, and on a good day, country eggs.
